Over the Easter Break, Michael Mehta has undertaken a further module with the Sutherland Cranial College. Michael is enrolled on the pathway of modules offered by the Sutherland Cranial College. The pathway provides continuing individual support to practitioners and opportunities for ongoing study. The tutors were pleased with the progress so far, and further courses will be taken in the coming years. For more information please click here.

This includes the more specialised fields of sports and dance medicine and the treatment of chronic pain.

The three hour written and practical exam tests both knowledge and practical skills in the design, application and defence of a patient rehabilitation plan. Emphasis is placed on the safe and competent use of all the exercises that may be required.

27.05.2003 - Cranial Osteopathy
Michael Mehta has now completed a further module with the Sutherland Cranial College. Entitled: “The Body Techniques of Dr. WG Sutherland” the course covers the principle of balanced ligamentous tension. These techniques allow the treatment of joints throughout the body. The ligaments which support each joint are gently “engaged”. Once this is achieved the involuntary or cranial motion is able to provide a means of releasing the joint restriction.

These powerful but subtle techniques will further enhance and complement the osteopathic repertoire used at Hermes Health.
